• About / Join the MKMC

Who are we? The Club was founded over twenty years ago and it currently has about forty members of many nationalities and aged from early twenties to late fifties, male and female, couples and singles. Members’ interests include fellwalking, scrambling, rock-climbing (all grades up to E5), winter mountaineering, alpine walking and climbing, via ferratas, cross-country ski-ing, mountain biking and kayaking. Whatever your standard you are likely to find someone who matches it.

Social Evenings The Club meets on the second and fourth Thursday each month at the New Inn, New Bradwell, Milton Keynes.  Members usually arrive around 9:00 for a drink, to talk about their latest escapades and to arrange future trips. Sometimes members will gather at other places regularly, like the climbing wall in the Xscape, Central Milton Keynes. You can check the latest regular gatherings on the Club Events page where you will also find information about club trips.

What else is there to do in Milton Keynes? It’s true we don’t have any mountains but to find out more about what’s available for adventure sports enthusiasts in Milton Keynes, including a 13M indoor climbing wall and 300M real snow slope visit MKWeb. We also have an indoor skydiving centre (yes really).
