Friday 29th to Sunday 1st May 2016
For third year running we had a club trip to the NT campsite at Wasdale Head. During the weekend the clubs members managed a number of ascents of Scafell Pike, while others got out and about into hills and around the valley. The evenings involved a couple of visits to the local pub at Wasdale Head to try out the food and beer.
A good weekend had by all despite the very heavy rain that arrived on Sunday.
Attendees – Kent, Ang, Andy, Diane, Simon, Shane & family plus Leo the crazy spaniel.
Was an absolutely great weekend. Plenty of fun to have been had by all.
