Kent, myself and Dan arrived at Caseg Fraith Hut on Thursday night and after getting settled in turned in for the night.
Friday
Alan, Alan and Stuart did a few warm up routes on Little Tryfan.
Kent, myself and Dan awoke to a beautiful sunny day and decided to walk up Tryfan. After getting back to the hut we got cleaned up and took a drive down to Betws y Coed to get fish and chips and await all the other members arrival. When everyone arrived we all had drinks in the hut lounge area and made plans for the following day.
Saturday
Kent and myself drove down to Betsw y Coed and did a circular walk in the beautiful Gwydyr Forest. New members Tudor and Ana decided to take a walk to the top of Tryfan, where the beautiful weather gave them a view across to Ireland.
Alan M, Alan W, Flick, Jason and Stuart went climbing and climbed at Tryfan and Little Tryfan.
Gillian, Adam, Alex and Floyd hiked up from Ogwen Valley via Devil’s Kitchen and up onto the Glyderau.
Dan went for a walk along Carneddau Ridge while Matt and Shane walked up Tryfan, Bristly Ridge and the Glyders.
That evening myself, Kent, Dan, Tudor and Ana went for dinner at the pub in Capel Curig while the rest of the members went to a Lecture at Plas y Brenin. We all met back at the hut for drinks and to decide plans for the following day.
Sunday
After packing up our stuff and having breakfast we all headed out for the day.
Alan M, Alan W, Flick and Stuart went climbing and climbed at Cwm Silyn
Gillian, Adam, Alex, Floyd, Jason, Tudor and Ana did a shorter circular hike from Beddgelert, which went along the valley past the Sygun Copper Mine and then up and over Mynydd Sygyn, a 300m plateau above Beddgelert.
Kent, myself and Dan took a walk around the lakes at the base of Tryfan in the sunshine and then after tidying up at the hut drove home.
A brilliant weekend of beautiful sunshine, great company and outdoor fun that wont be forgotten.

Great trip and some quality climbs. And some extensive abseil practise!
