The November Meet was at the Bryn Brethynau Barn, a climbing hut in Snowdonia in a beautifully secluded location with wonderful mountain views and yet only five minutes walk from the Tyn Y Coed Pub near Capel Curig.
The weather was good so the eighteen members that attended the meet enjoyed the good weather and headed off into the hills over the three days to do a wide range of activities including scrambling up Moel Siabod’s Deaer Ddu Ridge, climbing the classic climbing route “Outside Edge”, walking in the Carneddau and one member doing the Snowdon 3000ft Mountains over the weekend (incl an overnight camp on Snowdon’s summit).
In the evenings people retired to the Tyn Y Coed pub to eat, drink and share stories, discuss future trips or just to catch up with people they haven’t seen for a while.
Thanks to Bob for organising everything.
Great trip and some quality climbs. And some extensive abseil practise!
